Regular Season Round 12: Gimle - Telavi 70-88

Not a big story in a game when 46th ranked NorwegianGimle (3-5) was defeated by twenty sixth ranked Georgian Telavi (3-5) 88-70 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Telavi. Gimle managed to win fourth quarter 19-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Telavi forced 19 Gimle turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Nikolozi Bodaveli (-2009) who helped to win the game recording 44 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Nikoloz Tuliani (160-2010) who added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jorgen Haugland with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Kevin Mikutis scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Telavi have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Telavi went down to 37th position due to points difference, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Gimle . Gimle lost third consecutive game.
